Vintage Revo Sunglasses -Shapes Collection

Vintage Revo Sunglasses – Shapes Collection

The Revo Shapes Sunglass Collection is one of the most popular, Collections of sunglasses that Revo has ever made. Beautiful frame styles, finishes, and details, are paired with Revo’s Classic state-of-the-art, superior lens tecnology. This collection has been produced at least two different times. Production runs for Revo’s Shape Collection frames came primarily from Italy and Japan, although some models were made in France.. This collection features such popular models as the #953, #960, #962, #965, #973, #1110, #1111, as well as the first use of the extremely rare and popular gold mirror lenses. Below is an excerpt from a 1997 Revo Sunglasses Order Guide:

The Revo Shapes Collection offers the superior visual performance of Revo’s renowned Classic lens technology in an exclusive group of frame designs that are both stylistically ambitious and technologically advanced. The lenses, made of optical-quality glass, are polished to the standards of fine cameras and telescopes. Combining Revo Classic lens technology with leading-edge style, these sunglasses are designed for innovative individuals who demand remarkable visual performance.

These lenses, combined with precisely stacked layers of thin film coatings, block potentially harmful ultraviolet light–UVA, UVB, UVC–and control infrared and shortwave blue light, while actually enhancing vision. This means you’ll see better in any kind of light, be it full sun, flat light, fog or haze.

Among the advanced features that set our Shapes Frames apart are optical spring hinges, silicone nosepads, carefully engineered  bridges and pantoscopic angles, lustrous antique finishes, subtle cloisonne accents, engraved detailing and custom logos.

These multi-layer coatings from Revo’s Classic lens technology are actually clear. Their iridescent appearance is caused by the way they reflect light. You can actually see this if you cup your hand over the lens and look at it.

Revo Shapes represents a combination of frame and lens attributes that no other sunglass offers. Style by style, they give the discriminating owner something as rewarding to look at as through. Their fit is uniquely comfortable and luxurious.

Revo’s Shapes Collection has been, and always will be one of my favorite Revo Sunglass Collections. As a collector, who’s owned over 500 pairs, and as a broker or dealer of vintage Revo sunglasses, this is hands-down one of the most all-around popular Revo Collections.

Sunglass models from this collection feature either metal or plastic/nylon frames. These frames have a smaller, low-profile appearance, compared to the bulky, large, black nylon aviator frames from the original Revo Classic collection. Several of the metal frame models feature intricate designs that are etched or engraved on the exterior of the frames. Additionally, several other metal frame models feature the unique elegance of tortoise arms, typically paired with either a black, gold, or pewter frame finish. Another noteworthy quality of some Revo Shapes models are the shapeable–steel wire-core plastic/nylon arms. You can see the steel wire core through the translucent tortoise arms. This enabled the owner to personalize the appearance and fit. Similarly, Revo’s high quality metal frame construction allows for an optical professional to customize the appearance, and fit of the frames.

Below are the colored lenses and frame finishes available for each model. The #870 Wrap was available in: black frame with either blue mirrored lens or stealth blue lens, and tortoise, with either blue mirrored lens or neutral brown glass lens. The  #930 Narrow Combo was available in: black frame with blue mirror lens, tortoise frame with blue mirror lens, and yellow tortoise, with the neutral brown glass lens. Revo Sunglasses Review

Revo Sunglasses Review

Check out my site for reviews of authentic Revo Sunglasses. I provide an understanding of each Revo Sunglass Collection, I highlight specific models, and I share insight into Revo’s proprietary state-of-the-art lens layering technologies. I provide professional experience, as a collector of more than 500+ pairs of Revo sunglasses, and as a daily user for the last 24 years. I have been building a very special collection over the last handful of years, while providing 100’s of vintage Revo Sunglass aficionados with what are now, beautiful and rare investments. I have recently created the only *ALL* vintage Revo Sunglasses Online Store. http://www.vintage-revo-sunglass-store.com/

For me, even after owning more than 500 pairs of Revo sunglasses, I do not have either a specific, favorite Revo lens, or favorite Revo model. I would agree with some vintage Revo Sunglass promotional material that asserts the technology in their Traveler Collection, Tri-Band lenses is the best lens for all-around use. If I want to be noticed, I do still prefer the classic style of Revo’s colored mirror lenses in either the Shapes Collection or the Revo Executive Flex Collection.

I rarely used to wear Revo models from the Traveler Collection. But recently, even while having access to as many as 180 different models, I have consciously begun to choose these models–primarily for all-around visual comfort and clarity, but secondarily because these models are great values–and relatively less of a shock to the wallet if they happen to end up lost, or broken. Frames from the Revo Traveler Collection are primarily metal, with intricate artisan designs etched into the exteriors of the frames. These frames are subtle, elegant, powerful, stylish, intelligent, and slightly adventurous.

A similar Revo Sunglass Collection (for the same two reasons–overall comfort and clarity, and overall “dollar” value), is the Revo Degrees Collection. This collection features the refined look of a metal executive frame, combined with the all-around flexibility of the brown glass Revo Degrees Lens. Much like the green Traveler Collection Tri-Band lens, the brown Degrees lenses were developed to epitomize Revo’s proprietary, state-of-the-art lens layering technologies–removing glare, enhancing color, providing unparalleled optical protection, and improving clarity.  These  metal executive frame styles, feature minimal artistic embellishment, only subtle, classic style and intelligence. They carry names such as: Michelangelo, Edison, Curie, Galileo and Einstein.

Vintage sunglasses from Revo’s Traveler &/or Degrees Collections can still be purchased relatively affordably. These sunglasses can still be found from prices ranging between $100-$300.

This does not mean that I have given up my gold mirror lens Revo #1112, green mirror lens & gold frame #960, bright red/orange mirror H2O lens Revo #3025, or even my blue mirror lens Revo #953. In fact, I can frequently be seen wearing those, as well as my polarized lens #3004 Python Executives, original cable-arm Revo Grand Venture’s, and polarized H2O Stealth Blue mirror lens #3030 Viper Executive Flex sunglasses. Revo made so very many magnificent sunglass frames, and so many beautiful and stunning lenses, that I will never be able to settle on just one pair. That’s why I have just under 200 pairs.

Revo sunglasses have changed over the years. I will not be the first and only one to say this. Talk to any collector, and nearly all will prefer the style and quality that only vintage Revo sunglasses offer. Modern, current-production Revo sunglasses offer little of the style and characteristics that Revo became famous for. The styles are all very similar to each other. Essentially every model is an active, sports-style, plastic frame, with Revo’s proprietary lightweight polycarbonate lenses. They are marketed toward their initial target demographic, of active young males age 17-34.

While Revo lens technology remains the pinnacle for clear, safe, and enhancing optical technology–and since Revo lens technology remains proprietary, no other sunglasses brand compares in terms of optical quality, color enhancement, detailed clarity, comfort, and protection. Yet, while Revo’s polycarbonate lens is designed to be incredibly shatter-resistant–it has been my experience that Revo’s polycarbonate lenses are exceptionally susceptible to scratches. I must admit, I have not had as many years to evaluate the current models of Revo’s, since they have only been in production for a couple of years. But, I do feel I have had enough time and experience with these particular models, and Revo’s polycarbonate lens (in many dozens of applications), that I can confidently recommend Revo’s glass lenses for long-term quality and clarity, over Revo’s polycarbonate lenses.

This may be why current Revo sunglasses can be seen for what some might consider, disposable-prices. That is to say, I have seen current Revo models on sale at Sunglass Hut, and through other sellers for as little as $59. At this price, most current customers of Revo sunglasses can afford to part with the money if the sunglasses are lost, break, or become too scratched to use after one year. Luckily, in most cases Revo will provide a replacement pair, if you contact them and send the damaged pair of Revo’s back to them.

Ebay is Knowingly Complicit in Fraud, Therefore Ebay is Committing Fraud

Ebay is Knowingly Complicit in Fraud–Therefore, Ebay is Committing Fraud

Try searching for “Revo Sunglasses” on Ebay. Their search engine returns 1400-1600+ results with at least 60% at any given time, being cheap, Chinese counterfeits claiming to have actual Revo lenses. I have pointed this out to Ebay several times. In fact, I used to be a VERO representative for eBay on Revo sunglasses. The simple truth is that Ebay would rather accept the ongoing listing and Final Value Fees from the couple/several dozen of sellers actively commiting this online fraud. As stated above, this is occuring at a rate of 840-960+ fake, fraudulent listings (just for sellers of fake Revo sunglasses)–on any given day. Indeed, Amazon is likely equally as complicit. But I have not personally pointed this fact out to Amazon, as I have with Ebay.

Ebay has been complicit in this fraud since 1997. Their corporate response to copyright infringement lawsuits has been to create another level of inept bureaucracy, in the form of their VeRO (“Verified Rights Owner”) Program. One incredibly major flaw in this program is the fact that Ebay does not verify that any VeRO representative is authorized by the company owning the brand. In fact, my experience has been just the opposite–Ebay has put the foxes in charge of the henhouse. The only listed VeRO Representative for Revo sunglasses has a GMAIL email address. This person claims to be a consultant for Revo sunglasses on the Ebay website. However, this person will not provide any documentation, or contact numbers for verifying their consulting endeavors for Revo sunglasses at the GMAIL address they and Ebay have provided. What’s worse, is that you can contact this person and get a response, but when you inquire as to why they permit the abuse and fraud on Ebay, they do not respond. Similarly, when you ask them to be proactive, and report fraudulent abuses of sellers pushing fake Revo “lens” sunglasses, they cease communication–as though they are selling these fakes, themselves. …Honestly, why else would someone with a GMAIL account, claim to be a Revo “Consultant”, and then not respond to concerns from a customer, or even more appalling, why would they not look into and remove fraudulent listings unless they themselves were complicit in fraud, as well?? When I point this out to Ebay, the representative responds with “that isn’t how the program should work”, but no interest or protocol for pursuing the truth any further. In fact, their response was to offer me a VeRO representative position for Revo sunglasses, then remove access to me, when they realized the scale of the problem.

Here are over two dozen Ebay Sellers that fit this shameful, and literally criminal profile, as of today:

ZeroUV, OCee_Sunglasses, neovisioneyewear, sharpko, horsemann12, s2usilverwerkz2008, hd-sunglasses, rock-mart, atanacc, styleswithoutlabels, thediscountextravaganza, new-glasses, sageventures, 106shades, hawwk9, nettrader4u, triple-optic, sunspecs_emporium, bpmc90, juicyorange714, giatrading, gianpinco, max_focus, dusktodawn, outstandingdiscoveries, bdize_australia, fiorieyewear, al*82385, planet-direct, bboytman, storiwell

A couple of these fraudulent sellers of fake Revo sunglasses, not only sell these pairs individually, but they wholesale giant boxes of these cheap, crappy shades–saturating the market & online world with garbage–and dragging down the paramount, optical-quality reputation of Revo Sunglasses. ZeroUV, OceeSunglasses, and Sharpko are three of the most blatant offenders. These three sellers have been pushing fraudulent, cheap, Chinese, fake “Revo ‘LENS’ Sunglasses” for nearly a decade. One, or two of them have been doing this since 1997 & before. At least one of them is selling giant, wholesale lots on Ebay as well. I have purchased from each of these sellers, during my experiment to see if these claims are legitimate–and all of them sold me cheap, fakes, with nothing that was authentic to the claims of having “Revo lenses”.

I contacted Revo Sunglasses. You can too! I purchased a pair or two of these from various sellers–just to find out if they are fake or not. I received the merchandised, contacted Revo Sunglasses, and found out that I had been sold fakes, fraudulently. I left negative feedback for each of these sellers, so I could warn other customers who are otherwise continuing to be completely mislead, & coereced into keeping the counterfeits due to wordsmithing in the listing, and holding refunds hostage in exchange for positive feedback. The sellers listed above are committing fraud Ebay has been complicit in this fraud for over 13 years. However, now that Ebay has had this appalling truth pointed out and refused to take action–they are not just complicit, but Ebay is actively committing fraud!!

Discontinued & Discounted Vintage Revo Sunglasses

Discontinued & Discounted Vintage Revo Sunglasses

Everyone who’s purchased a pair of Revo sunglasses, knows what it’s like to get a great value. Who doesn’t want a discount on the next pair of Revo sunglasses they buy? Who in their right mind, wouldn’t like a Revo Sunglasses Sale??

I have an ALL REVO SUNGLASSES ONLINE STORE, that specializes in vintage, discontinued Revo sunglasses. As the website develops, I will be running periodic sales, offering rare, vintage Revo sunglasses at discount, and sometimes, cheap, bargain prices!! Follow this linke to explore my current collection:http://www.vintage-revo-sunglass-store.com/

Nowadays, you can find current-model Revo sunglasses for as little as $60, if you catch the right Sunglass Hut, at the right time. I visited one recently and saw them buy one get one free at the price of $159, which made the price per pair, $59.50. Considering you get the insight and unparalleled optical performance of Revo’s state-of-the-art lenses and proprietary layering technology, these prices are absolute bargains.

As a 25-year Revo sunglass collector & connoisseur, who has owned over 500 pairs of Revo sunglasses, I don’t recommend investing too much in the polycarbonate lens models, though. Revo polycarbonate lenses are engineered to be phenomenally shatter-resistent. However, my experience has been that this plastic, polycarbonate lens is extremely susceptible to scratches. These scratches can easily effect the exterior finish, as well as disrupt vision when wearing. For the price though (depending on your discretionary income) $60 for brand new Revo sunglasses is inexpensive enough that you can treat your sunglasses as disposable. …(Which is great because most current Revo models are made from recycled material, and are intended to be recycled when finished).

Would you like to sell your old Revo sunglasses?? I have an ALL REVO SUNGLASSES ONLINE STORE. I specialize in vintage Revo sunglasses. I am always looking to expand my collection. I love purchasing other collectors’ collections!! I can pay cash outright. I can offer a larger amount in store credit. Or, depending on the circumstances, you can have me act as your broker, for a commission. Follow this link, to my store: http://vintage-revo-sunglasses.mybigcommerce.com

Save the link as one of your favorites. As the website progresses, we will be running deep discount sales, and offering cheap prices to our repeat customers. I have been buying and selling classic, vintage Revo sunglasses online since 1996.

Most recently, I have run a successful store on Ebay called Authentic Revo Sunglasses. After a major falling out with Ebay, where I pointed out repeatedly to them that they are allowing 1000-1400+ fraudulent listings at any given time, by sellers claiming to have “Revo “Lens”” sunglasses for $1-$30 (when in reality, they are cheap, counterfeit, Chinese fakes). Ebay prefers to take the listing fees and final value fees of these sellers (who are committing fraud), rather than uphold a safe buying marketplace. BUY ON EBAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE EVERY YEAR, MISKNOWINGLY BUY FAKE REVO SUNGLASSES FROM EBAY SELLERS!! Due to the difficulty involved in finding real Revo sunglasses on Ebay, I created a successful store that satisfied hundreds of dedicated Revo Sunglass fans and collectors, every year. NOW THAT I HAVE OUTGROWN EBAY, I AM SHARING MY EXPERIENCE WITH EVERYONE!

CALL REVO, ask them if they have every sold their lens technology. Ask them if it remains proprietary! I have. That technology has never been sold!! Don’t be fooled by sellers online with cheap prices, selling cheap, too-good-to-be-true Revo sunglasses. If you are paying $1-35 for a brand new pair, you are buying fakes. You can see 1000-1400 of these listings on Ebay at any given time. You can find wholesale lots being sold for much less than $1/each. What do you think is being sold??? How can you trust *any* claims of UVA, UVB, or UVC protection, (when you are paying so very little, and they are buying them for even less than half that price)??

Revo Prescription Sunglasses

Revo Prescription Sunglasses

All authentic Revo Sunglasses offer paramount optical quality, clarity, color-enhancement, and glare reduction. Obtaining this quality of vision for a significant portion of the population who require prescription eyewear, has been available through the Prescription Lab at Revo throughout most of Revo’s production. Revo prescription sunglasses are offered in all of their current models. Most of these models are active “wrap”-style, plastic frames with polycarbonate lenses (at least in the mass-produced models, pehaps you can get glass lenses through their Prescription Lab. The following is taken from their “Presrciption:page, on their website: http://www.revo.com/technologies/9-authentic-rails_prod-prescription/

Revo is proud to fill prescriptions in [their] state-of the art optical lab. Your prescription is unique to you and your eyes and that is how Revo approaches every prescription sunglass that is custom-manufactured at our in-house facility. U Using digital processing methods, Revo is avle to provide sunglass lenses that meet your individual prescription needs. Revo Authentic Prescription lenses cobine sophistacted engineering and industry leading digital technology to deliver a lens that’s specially customized for each individeual eye. The result is exceptional clarity and comfort with reduced eyestrain. Experience prescription sunglasses like you’ve never experienced before.

Most sunglasses cannot be customized. And since every customer’s eyes are different, the need for a custom eyewear solution is crucial. Without a customized solution, prescription sunglasss customers will experience distortion, which leads to eye fatigue and headaches. In fact when integrated with Revo frames featuring our patented Motion-Fit(TM) design, these advanced lenses imiprove the range and clarity of vision to levels virtually unnoticeable to the human eye when transitioning between prescritption glasses and Authentic Revo Prescription sunglasses

Luckily for customers seeking Revo Prescription Sunglasses, the custom Prescription Lab is running strong, and offering customizable lenses in every current product. For a while in the middle-to-late decade of 2000-2010, individuals requiring prescription eyewear were left without the assistance of the Revo Prescription Lab. Sadly, there are no services available for vintage Revo sunglass aficianados. Discontinued Revo sunglasses are just that–discontinued, and no longer available–parts and service for these models are no longer available, or supported. Although many of Revo’s customers are fanatical and dedicated to the styles and quality of past, vintage and discontinued Revo sunglass models, very few options exist beyond purchasing a new model. However, if you look hard enough, there are still rare options for vintage Revo sunglass fans–in the form of the vintage Revo Clip Collection.

Original Revo Prescription sunglasses integrated the traditional Revo lens layering technologies with actual glass, prescription lenses. The process took several weeks from the time of selecting your model and lens finish, paying, and submitting your prescription requrirements to the Revo Prescription Sunglasses Lab, in California. In 1997, the Revo Clip Collection made a very noteworthy debut. This collection was released in “Ensembles” that included a current model frame (for your optometrist to fill), and a matching magnetized  sunglass clip. This release allowed the wearer to have their prescription lenses fit directly into one of their favorite Revo frames for everyday use, as well as enjoy the flexibility of Revo Sunglasses, by utilizing identical, clip-on sunglass frames–loaded with authentic Revo sunglass lenses, in a variety of lens types. I will creat another page, and write more regarding the classic, discontinued Revo Clip Collection.

Revo Polarized Sunglasses

Revo Polarized Sunglasses

As of 2011, all current Revo sunglasses are polarized. This is not true for discontinued, vintage Revo sunglasses. Current Revo sunglasses do not explicitly contain H2O lens technology, however. Most Revo collectors associate Revo H2O lenses with polarized lenses. However, each lens layering technology serves a distinct and separate function. This blog post will focus on Revo polarized sunglasses, while differentiating between the H2O lens layering technology.

Polarized Light Explained

Unlike normal light waves that vibrate in all directions, polarized light waves all vibrate in the same direction, creating a special kind of glare. Bright, flat surfaces such as water or pavement are the primary sources of poalarized glare. Polarized lenses act like a screen to selectively block the glare.

If you take tow polarized sunglasses and hold one in front of the other, then rotate one ninety degrees, the view through the lenses becomes black. This is the polarizing filter working. Because they block polarized light in both the vertical and horizontal planes, very little light can get through.

Revo “P” Polarized Lenses

As fishermen have known for decades, polarized lenses enable the wearer to see into the water, and see things (like fish) underwater that you could in no way else perceive– due to the changes in surface planes, glare, reflections, refractions, and translucent quality of submerged water. For fishermen the price of polarized lenses is a cheap investment for greater yields. Similarly, people leading active lifestyles often find themselves outside, where glare from cars, metal surfaces, windows, and water can be literally blinding. For many lovers of the outdoors, nothing will due–except polarized lenses.

Try going outside without sunglasses on a blinding day, and then go inside where it is dark–and you will understand the strain and damage the sun can do to your eyes after just a short time (then consider a lifetime of not protecting your eyes from the sun and intense glare of our modern world). Protect your eyes. Invest in the best, most technologically state-of-the-art sunglasses ever made, Revo’s.

Revo H2O Sunglasses

The H2O (TM) Collection offers all the benefits of Classic (TM) Revo lens technology, including enhanced contrast and complete sun protection, while blocking up to 99% of polarized glare. In addition, the neutral H2O lens features a special multi-layer, anti-reflective coating.

Revo H2O is ideal for anyone who experiences the unwanted effects of polarized glare. this is especially true for boaters and fishermen who need to see well in order to spot fish or hazards below the water’s surface and drivers who are faced with irritating polarized glare from the surfaces of windshields and roads.

In 1998 through about 2003, H2O was available in a selection of Revo’s most popular, high-quality frames, to sit the most discriminating tastes. For those who want enhanced vision as well as state-of-the-art polarized lens technology, look no further than H2O. Shortly after this period, the H2O Collection stopped being produced.

Summary

If you’re still somewhat confused, don’t be alarmed. When Revo developed the “Revo “P” Polarized” lens layering technology, the focus was on incorporating traditional polarization technology which enables the wearer to see through water (think about the fishermen), and optimizing the quality of light that is allowed through the lenses, while blocking out unwanted glare. When Revo developed the “H2O” lens layering technology, they were focused on enhancing color while eliminating glare (glare that in large part, is polarized glare–but not entirely). The H2O lens was designed for a wider-range of applications then the Revo “P” Polarized lenses (which work fine for reducing polarized glare, but are still dedicated to the task of enhancing vision through water and water vapor).

Fake & Counterfeit Revo Sunglasses

Fake & Counterfeit Revo Sunglasses

Beware if you’re trying to buy Revo sunglasses online! Monopolistic entities like Amazon and Ebay host several dozen sellers of cheap, Chinese sunglasses with fraudulent claims of having “Revo Lens(es)”. Several of these sellers have been permitted to slang these fakes on Ebay and Amazon for over a decade.

Any claim from any seller, that any non-Revo frame holds actual Revo lenses is 1,000% false–and fraudulent. REVO HAS NEVER SOLD THEIR PROPRIETARY LENS TECHNOLOGY. Call Revo & ask!! I have.

I have purchased some of these off of Ebay, just to find out for myself. I called Revo, and was informed that I had purchased fakes–just as I’d suspected! When I left negative feedback for the sellers of this cheap, Chinese junk–I was kicked off of Ebay. They told me it came down to a “business decision” Ebay informed me that they would rather do business with the several dozen sellers of Chinese, fake, fraudulent ‘Revo’ sunglasses, then allow me to continue selling my collection (which I’d been successfully pleasing 100’s customers doing, for over seven years).  THIS MAKES EBAY COMPLICIT IN FRAUD.

I have pointed this out to Ebay several times–and they don’t want to correct the problem. Basically, anyone who wants to sell cheap, mirrored lens sunglasses can Spam the brand name Revo, and claim to have actual, authentic “Revo Lenses”. Strangely, no body is Spamming “Oakley Lenses”, or if they are these are being removed for Copyright/Brand Infringement.

Ebay likes to point to their VERO program as the cleansing source for their website, from fakes andn counterfeits. Yet, if you contact the current only person listed on Ebay as a VERO Rep, they have a GMAIL.COM email account (NOT REVO.COM)–and, they “claim” to be a Consultant for Revo. While you can reach a person at this address, strangely, they cease communication when you inquire anything, or request any action. Ask how they consult, and you will not receive an answer. Ask them to investigate & remove sellers who Spam the Revo brand name & fraudulently make “Revo lens” claims, and they end communication.

I have been a VERO Rep for Revo Sunglasses on Ebay three years ago. Their online reporting system, where you can report up to 10 listings each report–returns no action–ever. If I take the time and expense to complete a paper form, that allows reporting of just three listings, and then fax it (long distance), then I have experienced the removal of those three (3)  listings. Faxing in this report, which included just those 3 listings cost $4.75, at the local Kinko’s.

However, Ebay, at any given time, allows over 1000+ fake, fraudulent Revo “Lens” sunglass listings (well over 60% of the search results that return). For me, or any other legitimate VERO Rep to effectively report over 1000+ fake and fraudulent Revo Sunglasses listings per week, I need to complete over 333 paper forms, and then fax them to Ebay

Do you think I am exaggerating?? Well as of today, 8/26/2011, in just 10 minutes, I’ve been able to pull up over a dozen sellers of cheap, Chinese sunglasses, who are making fraudulent “Revo lens” claims to slang their plastic crap. There are literally dozens of these sellers, just on Ebay. A couple of them not only sell these pairs individually, but they wholesale giant boxes of these cheap, crappy shades–saturating the market & online world with garbage–and dragging down the paramount, optical-quality reputation of Revo Sunglasses. Here are over two dozen Ebay Sellers that fit this shameful, and literally criminal profile, as of today:

ZeroUV, OCee_Sunglasses, neovisioneyewear, sharpko, horsemann12, s2usilverwerkz2008, hd-sunglasses, rock-mart, atanacc, styleswithoutlabels, thediscountextravaganza, new-glasses, sageventures, 106shades, hawwk9, nettrader4u, triple-optic, sunspecs_emporium, bpmc90, juicyorange714, giatrading, gianpinco, max_focus, dusktodawn, outstandingdiscoveries, bdize_australia, fiorieyewear, al*82385, planet-direct, bboytman, storiwell

OCee, was nice enough to pay for return shipping and reimburse me in full. Most other sellers, including several not mentioned in this paragraph, but cited in the offenders’ list above will coercively force you to leave positive feedback, in order to have your return and refund processed!

Ebay likes to claim that they ‘cannot police themselves’, and that they rely on their buyers, sellers, and online community to report abuse. Well, I’m here to inform everyone–for the rest of my life–that EBAY IS COMPLICIT IN FRAUDULENT ‘REVO “LENS” SUNGLASS’ SALES, SEVERAL THOUSAND TIMES, EVERY YEAR, AND THEY HAVE BEEN SINCE AT LEAST 1997. I have contacted Ebay several times about the appalling experience of trying to find authentic Revo sunglasses on Ebay, and as a result have had the absolute, most disappointing, and  bitter experience of my online life.
